TLDR To making friends guaranteed to work (with Mondo!)

  • SHOW UP OFTEN. EVEN IF YOU DONT TALK. Be present. People will notice you. If you don't talk it may take quite awhile, be patient!
  • INSERT YOURSELF INTO THE CONVERSATION! Even if you're a mute. You can still do textbox, ASL, body language, etc. This may be taboo IRL but it is PREFERRED in VR! This might help? Also if you're autistic this might be a good read.
  • I hate the cliché, but BE YOSELF. LET THEM TITTIES BE FREE! (Wholesomely of course)
  • BE NICE & CONSIDERATE! Don't talk over others when they're talking, and give the other people a chance to talk. Say the thing you wanna say when there's a pause in conversation. Help others when you can! Ask for help when you want/need it!
  • Respond OPENLY without making things awkward! Check out: How To Get People To Talk To Me More?
  • Be positive! Not toxically positive, but don't be a debbie downer! People like to be around people that are more upbeat!
  • Fake it til you make it. I hate this phrase. I also hate that it works.
  • Remember to post about YOURSELF before hopping in the deep end! Remember your friendship levels!

  • TLDR of the TLDR: The more we know about you, the more friends you'll get, so throw down all your interests (in the appropriate channels xD) [And be tactful about it in VC]
  • That's it. That's TL;DR how you make friends.

Making Friends 101, a more formal guide (with Chatgpt!)

  • Be open and approachable: Smile and make eye contact with people you meet. This can help you seem more friendly and welcoming.
  • Show genuine interest in others: Ask questions and listen to what people have to say. This will help you build a connection with them.
  • Participate in activities you enjoy: Join clubs, organizations, or teams that align with your interests. This will give you the opportunity to meet people who share similar hobbies and passions.
  • Volunteer or get involved in your community: Not only will this help you meet new people, but it's also a great way to give back and make a positive impact on your community.
  • Be a good listener: Pay attention to what your friends have to say and show them that you value their thoughts and opinions.
  • Be reliable and dependable: Make an effort to follow through on your commitments and be there for your friends when they need you.
  • Show interest in your friends' lives: Ask your friends about their interests, families, and other aspects of their lives and show that you are genuinely interested in getting to know them better.
  • Be open and honest: Building trust is an important part of any close friendship. Be open and honest with your friends, and they will be more likely to do the same with you.
  • Make time for your friends: Nurture your friendships by setting aside time to spend with your friends, whether it's meeting up in person or simply chatting on the phone or online.
  • Pay attention to nonverbal cues: People's body language, facial expressions, and tone of voice can all give clues as to how they are feeling and what they are comfortable with. Paying attention to these cues can help you to respect others' boundaries.
  • Ask for consent: If you are unsure about whether it is okay to do something or share something with someone, ask for their consent. This can include asking for permission to give a hug, touch someone, or share personal information.
  • Respect others' privacy: Everyone has a right to privacy, and it is important to respect others' wishes when it comes to personal space and information.
  • Be mindful of others' feelings: Consider how your words and actions might affect others. If you think that something you are about to do or say might hurt someone's feelings, it might be best to avoid it.
