So Ya Wanna Host An Event!?

  • The answer is Yes.
    • You can host your own brand new event
    • You can host an old event
    • You can volunteer to host when another host cancels
  • You can do literally anything, the sky is the limit!
  • This is shit you can actually put on your resume irl. Its teambuilding, leadership, etc! Let's make your dreams come true!
  • You are still held to the same responsibilities (below) as an event papito would have with your event! :3

Event Host Responsibilities

Before Event

  • Fill out the Template and get the event in the bot: since you're not an event papito yet, ask someone to create it in #Tell-Us-Things or #Support-Tickets
  • Show up on time / slightly before event start
    • If you're going to be late, say so ASAP in #Events-Online
    • If you can no longer host an event you created, please cancel it or find a replacement host 24hours before the event if possible.
    • If you continuously create events and no call no show, your event host privlidges may be revoked. Cancel it in the bot or find a new host. :3
  • Create the group/group+/group public instance

During Event

  • Greet people
  • When everyone has gathered, try to give instruction for the event something like "Thanks for coming to the event, here's how we play this game: X, Y, Z! If you have any issues, please let me know or use #Tell-Us-Things or #Support-Tickets in Discord!
  • If someone is struggling, stop and help them. Never leave anyone behind unless it's an "at your leisure" event.
  • It's nice to take a group picture at some point too :3 Post it in #📔⟝vrc-album-9 (Or whichever album is current)
  • Keep an eye out for sus behavior. Report anything even if its small, especially if they are new people in the #Tell-Us-Things or #Support-Tickets Thank you for reporting it / encouraging a report to keep our corner of the net safe. :3 ❤️
    • You will never ever get in trouble or get any backlash from reporting things. Reporting things is not rocking the boat. Hiding them is sinking it.

After Event

  • If you don't want to host your event anymore... DONT! Don't burn yourself out. You can't pour from an empty cup. Take a break, host something else, whatever you need to do to stay happy! There is no shame in stopping your event. Fill out a ticket in #Tell-Us-Things or #Support-Tickets and let us know we need to cancel it / put it on hold. :3 <3
  • If anything went wrong (or if things went right) please tell us how it went ^_^ <3 #Tell-Us-Things or #Support-Tickets
  • If hosting an event seems intimidating, just know we protect our community so well and have so few issues. Just be a chill host and if anything happens, #Tell-Us-Things or #Support-Tickets! We'll be on it ASAP!

Making An Event

  • If you currently are not an Event Papito, you can still make an event! Just fill out a ticket in #Tell-Us-Things or #Support-Tickets with the template info!
  • If you WANT to be an Event Papito, you must host several regular events without issue (on your part), and generally you can be an Event Papito soon after! Just #Tell-Us-Things or #Support-Tickets that you want to be a papito! :D

Wholesome or Crude?

  • Wholesome: An event where things would be safe to talk about, say, at work, or something you might talk to your grandma about. So nothing such as pp jokes. You would deliberately restrict topics to things that are not sexual or disturbing related. If someone makes a pp joke, kindly remind them that this is a wholesome event, please don't make the pp joke. If you wouldn't talk about it to your grandma, don't talk about it at a wholesome event.
  • Crude: An event where topics can get more... crude. You can make the PP joke. You can reference sexual things in a non serious manner.
  • Lewd: ERP / Showing PP/Titties/Nips/Bussys (Currently not allowed in general events) or intricate, serious discussion about 'disturbing content'

  • Minecraft event (everyone just plays mc at this time)
  • Crude games event (like truth or dare, never have i ever, etc.)
  • NA walkabout minigolf
  • VRC "Tournaments" (Maybe vrc minigolf?)
  • Retired_Events
