VRChat Feature Requests

Dear VRChat: This is more than a game. It is, for many of us, our lives, our passion. We really expect QoL improvements and things broken for YEARS to be fixed before new features are added, please take us seriously.

Moderation & Instance Management

Moderator Identification	A visual indicator (icon on the nameplate, etc) to identify users with moderation powers within an instance.	Show who the group instance moderators are
"Report to Instance Mods" System	Replace or augment the "Vote to Kick" button with a "Report" button that alerts active instance moderators. If no moderators are present, it falls back to the standard Vote to Kick system.	Instance Report
Teleport to Reporter / Locating Users	Ability for moderators to teleport directly to the location of a user making a report or initiating a vote kick, and/or Tools to easily locate specific users within a large instance (highlight or waypoint) to facilitate moderation discussions. One Click Report Button w/ Reason	A streamlined option to Block, Kick, and Report a malicious user in a single click, and let us add a reason so they can see why they were booted. BTW: Opening a page where people just need to fill out a form WHILE IN VR is NOT ACCEPTABLE!.	Add a Block + Kick option to the Kick menu. / Block and Kick updates / Add Reason for kick and blocks
Fix In Game Reporting	A streamlined option to report a malicious user in a single click. Auto fill the offending user's name, and let us have a small box to type IN VRCHAT a brief "what the issue is". Auto save audio/video from the last 5 minutes or whatever and attach it to that report. Again, opening a page where people just need to fill out a form WHILE IN VR is NOT ACCEPTABLE!.
Expanded Kick/Ban/Mute Controls	Custom Durations: Control over how long a kick/ban lasts. Reasons: Ability to attach a specific reason to a kick/ban displayed to the person being kicked. Nullify Vote kicks: Option for mods to cancel a vote kick in progress.
Website Moderation Integration	Ability to kick or ban users from an active instance directly via the VRC website.
Manual Instance Resets	Allow moderators/owners to manually reset an instance if a user or bug breaks the world logic.
Bypass "Instance Closed"	Allow staff to join an instance even if it is marked as closed or full to perform moderation duties.
World Rank Gating	Option for world creators/instance owners to restrict entry based on Trust Rank (to prevent ban evasion/trolls) Mondo Notez: This would isolate a lot of newbies, so I am not for this one personally, but I AM for better ban evation/troll control to not NEED this in the first place. I'm including it as others were interested in it.
Ban Evasion/Troll Control	Create a system to recognize ban evaders that are doing it for trolling purposes. IP ban / HWID / Hardware Hash ban via EAC? Make THESE bans escalate quickly. 1 day / 7 days / 30 days / 90 days / Perma
VRChat "Sexual Avatar" Banning Overhaul	We need stricter rules on what counts and what doesn't, as people seem to be continued to be banned upon removal of the "offending content" (Female presenting nips, nip indentations, pps, butthole, crotch lines, and associated textures, even if not used/visible on the avatar) Mondo Notez: In the future if "ban waves" are a-coming, give us a FUCKING HEADS UP, so we can fix the issue first. Treat us humanely, with dignity, like responsible adults, please! Give us the opportunity to fix something before smacking our hand. We community leaders are valuable to the community. We do a lot of this work for free. Help us help you. Mondo Notez: *mumbles to self* Restitution for people unfairly banned before "the process was redone" would be great.

Audio & Avatar Control

Global Avatar Mute	Option for moderators to mute a specific avatar's audio for the entire instance (not just locally).
Avatar Height Limits	Instance Limits: Ability to set min/max avatar height requirements for the instance. Moderator Override: A "Force Standard Height" view for moderators to prevent users from hiding/obstructing views with massive/tiny avatars.
Moderator Intercom	Voice amplification options for moderators that function as an "announcer" voice to address the instance.
Expose Avatar to Udon	Expose more avatar functionalities and parameters to Udon for better world-avatar interaction.

Group & Community Features

Link Instances to Announcements	Allow users to click a Group Announcement and immediately join the attached instance.
Expanded Group Roles	Increase the current limit of 5 roles to allow for more nuanced hierarchy.
Crossover Events	Native support for multiple Groups to co-host a single event or instance.
Display Rules on Join	A pop-up or some sort of UI element that displays Group or Instance rules immediately when a user joins. Furry Hideout does an awesome job of this!
Toggle Join Request Notifications	An option to mute/disable notifications specifically for Group Join Requests. Mondos Notez: Highly requested feature, as we had to change our entire group because the join requests were SPAMMING event hosts into quitting.
Discord Integration	Official integrations to link VRChat Group roles or actions with Discord servers.
Groups Fair Overhaul	ATM Groups Fair is a "smol calendar within a calendar" which is a row of worlds that is fairly far down the list in the VRC worlds category. Make it PROMINENT. Having an event IN the calender in the first place has gathered WAY more new users than the groups fair category.
Recurring Events on VRC Calendar	PLEASE
Remove VRC Calendar Rate Limit	Right now it says "Something went wrong" after 10 or so added events, OR edited/modified events, and no verbose verbiage on WHY or WHEN it will be lifted.	Needs MOAR Verbose error messages
Group Staff Rate Limiting	Natural safeguards to prevent "rogue mod" scenarios where a staff member empties a group or mass-bans users overnight. Allow Group Owners to set thresholds (Max 20 kicks / 5bans per day). If a mod exceeds this, their permissions are temporarily suspended.
Mass Revert / "Undo" Action	An "Emergency Undo" feature to recover from a rogue moderator or hijacked account. Ability to "Undo all actions by [User]" (unban all users banned by X in the last 24 hours) to avoid manually unbanning/unkicking thousands of users.
Auto Send Announcements	Auto send an announcement to people when an instance in the calendar goes live. Have the ability to turn this off, also the option to turn it on "only for events I am interested in".
Sort Calendar by DATE	Sort the Calendar events I want to find karaoke events happening.... right now. or today. I don't care about January 21st at 7pm. I want to scream Linkin Park -now-.
Feature Groups On Website	Feature Groups on the website, and link to our group page!

UI & Website Improvements

User ID Search	Ability to search for users directly by their User ID.
Group Search Fix	Fix the bug where you search for a user and they do not show up. "Just use VRCX" is not a solution, it is a BANDAID to a problem.	Group search is broken for random people
Group Permission Fix	Fix the bug where ANYONE can make a group instance of ANY type regardless of permissions using VRCX.
Relocate "Hide Notifications"	Move this button on the menu to prevent accidental clicks when trying to interact with Group Announcements.
Print Moderation Improvements	Ensure users can delete their own prints from gallery/website WITHOUT VRC+.
Image Moderation Improvements	Let group owners & trusted event hosts upload images WITHOUT VRC+.
Camera blocking in UI mode	Remove the camera from showing in UI mode. It blocks the person's avatar who's taking the picture.	Nametag on, Camera off in screenshots / Turn Fog and Camera OFF in "UI" enabled pictures / Turn camera & fog off in "UI" pictures
Potato Mode Presets	Have settings on a quick menu for "Potato Mode" "Medium Mode" and "HQ Mode" that automatically adjusts VRC's settings to the 2 optimal settings.
Consolidate Little Boy & Big Boi Menus	Some settings are only available in the little boy quick menu that you cannot get to from the big boi options menu. This may have been fixed?
Customizable Little Boi menu	Let us CHOOSE what is on the little boi menu vs "What you think we want". Selfie Expression on/off would be a great thing to be able to put on there if it's something you care about. The Proposed Potato/Medium/Ultra setting would be great to be on there too.
Optimize Big Boi Options Menu Button Visibility	Directing people to the big boi menu is difficult when it seems to be hidden amongst the buttons at the top. For example, when trying to show them how to turn untrusted URLS on when they are new.
