INTRODUCTION
(Man I can't wait till I'm cancelled over something that is very ridiculous and everyone will reference this page as something to laugh at when in reality it's just me being myself and being open to a community I like)
Ok uh... Where do I start?
Hello! Or rather, "Ello!" (that was my original catchphrase). I'm Par, just your friendly local nerd who enjoys spending time on VRChat with different people and communities.
I'm incredibly invested in a ton of things I work on, some of them being hilarious considering how bad I am at some of them.
One of those bad skills is writing! So good luck. This is going to sound more like a resume than anything, haha.
MY WORK ETHIC AND PROJECTS
I'm sorry if like half of these words make no sense, I'll *probably* include some references to everything I'm talking about somewhere on this page later.
If we had to go through a list of things I work on or with, I'd say...
- Programming (Java, C#, C++, Python 3)
- Game Dev (Unity, Unreal Engine)
- Modeling (Unity, Blender)
- Website Creation (HTML/CSS, Google sites, Wix)
- Image Editing (Photoshop, GIMP, Krita)
- Video Editing (Davinci Resolve)
- Writing (Game Writing or SCP Writing)
- Linux Distro Modifications (Mostly Debian)
- ARG Creation + Participation
In total, I believe I've worked on over 50 projects in my current lifetime. With more coming soon!
What am I currently doing as of December 28th, 2022?:
- Writing a wiki page obviously
- Working on a mansion world in VRC
- Working on a website
- Making icons
- Reading a gazillion legal documents
- Understanding business I guess
- Chilling with the Mondo community when I have free time
- Looking at ARGS (if you have no idea what this is, PLEASE check it out. Look at YouTubers such as Nightmare Masterclass, NightMind, or Nexpo. Checkout series like "Petscop", "The Mandela Cattelouge", or "Crow 64")
- Enjoying winter break
- Not Calculus Lol
I really, really, really try to hard to keep a good portfolio. So go check out my links! All the work would be worth it if you looked at atleast one of em! ;)

WHY DO I WORK 24/7?
Some would say I'm a masochist, others would say I'm just insane. Honestly, the more I think about it, the more logical those two statements become. But anyways, no, I just do it cuz I find a certain joy in learning, teaching others, and working towards an accomplishment!
Back when I was a kid, I studied Linux and cybersecurity. I learned about the joys of something I couldn't imagine. No, not Linux. No, not ethical hacking or pentesting. It was rather the idea of community. Having a community where we would mutually talk about topics I loved, teach each other things, learn and grow together, have meetups or plans for the future.
Some of my best times back then and even now are with these little communities I'm a part of.
Honestly, I think that's what's kept me going all these years. No, not the attention I get from those communities, but rather the idea that I'm a part of something bigger and that I can contribute in a way people appreciate it! And it's usually through something I love too!
MY THOUGHTS ON COMMUNITIES OVERALL
What sucks about these amazing communities I mentioned earlier is that they only seem to be pheasable in the real world. Where people are restricted by the rules of society (that or just nice people seem to be more appreciated irl which makes sense)
For those who don't have context, lots of communities I've seen online recently seem to have a sort of elitist mindset where you must have a certain set of qualities to join.
I think that's hogwash. You want to get into a subject? Go for it! You want to talk to a group and be yourself! Give it your all!
People shouldn't restrict learning or friendship based on some made-up quality.
Now, that doesn't mean I'm ignoring that people should be respectful to one another. That's just common sense.
Honestly, if you, dear reader, have been in the tech field around 2018-2022, I'm sure you'd agree with this statement.
Speaking of which, shameless plug, but have you wanted to ever learn game dev?
I teach classes for it! I'll gladly send you the slideshows of recordings of you're interested!
MY THOUGHTS ON MONDOCAT.TV
Honestly, what's most surprising is that I can definitely say MondoCat.tv has completely flipped everything negative Ive said about online communities.
It's a community where people just choose to be wholesome, spend time together, have laughs, and generally have a good time.
Some might see this as weird or strange, but honestly this is some of the best fun and enjoyment I've had with people online in literally years.
Seriously, I'm surprised no one is taking notes and giving it to leaders of other communities.
Sure, communities can be very different than MondoCat.tv or be much larger or smaller than the community. However, I think it doesn't hurt to spread the positivity!
MY THOUGHTS ON VRCHAT
Well, here's the interesting stuff.
For those who are out the know, (cuz for all I know this might be read when Mondo is 50 and still amazing as ever and VRC dies), VRChat, or "VRC" is a social platform in VR that allows for users to talk and interact with one another.
Ive played it for around a year or so now, started it back like in 2019, then got off of it cuz I didn't see the true value in it, then got back on it in 2022.
Sadly, as of 2022, the idea of "I go visit my friends and hangout in VR" is so foreign and not accepted that people will definitely give you glares.
But honestly, if this game and it's community makes me and SOOOOO many others happy, what's the issue?
Sure, don't get addicted to this game (it's quite easy), don't let it take over your life, don't let it be your only comfort.
But honestly, I like to believe that everyone is their own person.
As long as you are aware of the dangers of playing a game that can become an addiction with little restrictions besides the ability to block someone (AS OF 2022), then do what you want as long as it doesn't hurt others.
I honestly believe that this platform has committed way more good than bad. So many artists and creators have made their start through this game, and so many more are literally making a living off of it.
So there's my thoughts.
If you like VRC, awesome! Be careful, but have as much fun and amazing experiences as you want!
If you haven't heard of VRC, maybe try it out? (if that's even possible). Seriously, this game is so underrated.
It's kind of a slow process to get into the game, but with communities like MondoCat.tv, you'll easily find a start and some helpful people who will guide you to experiencing the joys of this game!
MY HOBBIES AND NOT BORING STUFF
Ok, boring stuff out of the way!
What are some hobbies I do?
- Nerd Stuff (I think thats quite obvious)
- Video games (I'll get into that soon)
- Watching Youtube
- Watching old or nastologic shows
- Chess
Ok, so what about the video games?
Well, since I don't want this wiki page to become the next bible, I'm just going to list a few companies, some general categories and maybe a few games)
- Valve (TF2, Portal, Portal 2, Half Life 2)
- Northwood (SCP Secret Lab) !!! MONDO TRY IT OUT !!!
- Mojang (Minecraft)
- Nintendo (Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, New Super Mario Brothers, Mario Sunshine, Mario 64 DS, etc)
- Bungie (Halo 3 & Halo Reach)
MY CONCLUSION
Well, that's it. Kinda funny how the not boring stuff is like... Only a small portion of this entire page.
Hope you enjoyed reading this!
Shoot me a DM, I'll be glad to know someone read through this.
