Event Masters - Event Papitos

Event Host Responsibilities

• Fill out the Template and get the event in the bot: since you're not an event papito yet, ask someone to create it in #Tell_Us_Things
• Show up on time / slightly before event start
  • If you're going to be late, say so ASAP in #Events-Online
  • If you can no longer host an event you created, please cancel it or find a replacement host 24hours before the event if possible.
  • If you continuously create events and no call no show, your event host privlidges may be revoked. Cancel it in the bot or find a new host. :3
• Create the group/group+/group public instance
• Greet people
• Keep an eye out for sus behavior. Report anything even if its small, especially if they are new people in #Tell_Us_Things (Non Mods) / #Emergent Meeting (Mods). Thank you for reporting it / encouraging a report to keep our corner of the net safe. :3 ❤️
  • You will never ever get in trouble or get any backlash from reporting things. Reporting things is not rocking the boat. Hiding them is sinking it.
• If you don't want to host your event anymore... DONT! Don't burn yourself out. You can't pour from an empty cup. Take a break, host something else, whatever you need to do to stay happy! There is no shame in stopping your event. Fill out a ticket in #Tell_Us_Things and let us know we need to cancel it / put it on hold. :3 <3

• If this seems intimidating, it's really not because we protect our community so well and have so few issues. Just be a chill host and if anything happens, #Tell_Us_Things!

Making The Event

GUI Settings at https://raid-helper.dev/create/

• THIS IS IMPORTANT, IT'S WHY THE TEXT IS BIG XD
  • Make sure your red settings are the exact same as the template to the right
  • Green settings you can change to whatever you want
  • MAKE SURE your time zone is correct when posting. (Server time is EST/EDT)
  • The only channel you should be posting in is #📆⟝event-athon🎂. If there is no cake, do not click it! It is no lie!

Using MondEvent Bot - GUI Mode

• List 'O Steps:
  • Step 1: Login at Raid-Helper.dev, link your account, and use the dashboard GUI!
  • Step 2: Create an event at Raid-helper.dev/create!
  • Step 3: Load the Form Profile using the blue bottom at the bottom right to pre-load the correct settings.
  • Step 4: Make sure your red settings are the same as the picture to the right. Feel free to change the green settings.
  • Step 5: MAKE SURE your time zone is correct when posting. (Server time is EST/EDT)
  • Step 6: Fill in the blanks using the text template at the bottom for the description, and the event settings using the GUI template at the right.

• MAKE SURE THE FOLLOWING:
  • Event is posted 7 or 14 days before event happens
  • If you schedule the time posted, please make sure it is posted at the same time the event is happening. (Not 3am!)

• NOTE: You can do it using text instead of GUI but it sucks, don't do it.
