If you are experiencing a consistent unpleasant smell wherever you go, it might be a good idea to take a look at your own belongings or surroundings to see if there is something that could be causing the odor. It is always a good idea to take personal responsibility for our own actions and surroundings, and to consider whether there might be something that we can do to improve the situation.

Why you should WANT be "too much" immediately:

*Communicate openly and honestly: If you're having trouble connecting with others, try being more open and honest about your thoughts and feelings. This can help build trust and understanding in your relationships.

*Seek feedback: Ask a trusted friend or family member for their honest opinion about how you can improve your relationships with others. They may have insights that can help you make positive changes.

FRONTLOAD YOUR WEIRDNESS! (An article borrowed from Mark Manson)

Stop trying to be "cool" to get people to like you. It’s a waste of time.

When I met my wife, I spent our first five minutes in a loud nightclub at 3 AM explaining the nuances of Russian grammar. It was the least "smooth" move possible, but it was the most honest version of who I am. She didn’t leave. That’s how I knew.

The Lesson

Most people spend the first six months of a relationship (or business partnership, friendship, etc) performing. They hide their quirks, polish their edges, and "play the game." in an attempt to not be "too much".

All they’re doing is delaying the inevitable.

Why you should WANT be "too much" immediately:

It’s a Filter: Anyone scared off by your intensity or your odd interests was never going to last anyway.

No Maintenance: If you start with a performance, you have to keep performing. If you start as yourself, you’re already done.

The Right People Stay: The goal isn't to be liked by everyone; it's to be found by the people who actually value your brand of crazy.

The Bottom Line

It’s better to be disliked for who you are than liked for someone you’re pretending to be.

Front Load your weird. The right people will stay.
